wp-cache - vastly speeds up response times and scalability

wp-db-backup (get the latest version, it allows you to schedule backups)

text control - the default wordpress editor sucks (especially if you use bullets a lot). I like to type with Textile2, but this allows you to use several of the more popular text markups.</description>
